Noakes Group
The Noakes Youth program was founded in 2005 by Sean Langman with the view of providing opportunities for youth to develop themselves physically, mentally and socially, through an environment that encourages exercise, education, employment and community interaction.
Noakes Youth also offers many avenues for young people to gain access to and excel in the marine industry and in the sport of sailing while gaining the confidence to become community leaders. Over the years Noakes Youth has utilised sailing as a means to bring an eclectic group of young people together in an environment that inspires personal growth, acceptance and community spirit.
Noakes Youth also offers an avenue into working in the marine industry via its shipwright and boat building apprenticeship program.
